Seats Incorporated, an established WI manufacturing firm founded in 1952, is a growing, family-owned manufacturing company that recently expanded to Spring Hill, KS.

Seats designs, manufactures, and markets seating and accessories for operators of vehicles with wheels or tracks. Our products appear in over-the-highway semi-tractors, turf care, off-highway equipment, military vehicles, and emergency vehicles.

Seats is currently seeking a Semi Truck Driver to join our team. This position transports raw materials used in the manufacture of our Seating products from our foam facility to our production facility, both of which are located in Spring Hill, KS. Occasional day trips to and from customer locations and other Seats manufacturing plants may be required.

This position also uses equipment such as fork trucks, 2 wheel carts, bins, and pallet jacks to locate materials to be distributed to support departments, remove finished parts from work areas, and restock finished parts. This person opens containers and moves materials within the plant, yard, or work areas.

The hours are Monday through Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm with overtime potential on Friday.

Work Experience, Skills and Education Required

Class A Driver’s License
Minimum of 3 years of driving experience required.
3 years of clean driving record required.
Highly motivated and able to work independently while using good judgment.
Ability to secure heavily loaded flatbed trailers.
Ability to use critical thinking and trouble shooting skills to solve problems.
Basic knowledge and training in DOT regulations.
Experience with the use of equipment such as fork trucks, carts, and pallet jacks.
Frequently lift and/or move to up 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and or move up to 75lbs.
Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours per day.
Effectively communicate using written and oral communication skills.
Proven attendance and performance record from previous employer(s).
