“Search Friction”

The Nobel Prize has been awarded to 3 British scientists who worked on the problem of why so many jobs remain open when unemployment is so high.  One of their conclusions is that this is due to “search friction” – job seekers not being aware of job openings, and employers not being aware of qualified individuals.  Catholic Career Roundtable links job seekers with employers through our web site, Career Roundtable Day, Parish Outreach, and our Catholic Career Roundtable Linked In group!
