Saturday February 26th: Panelists agree, the CCR Roundtable is a refreshing venue for business owners and hiring managers to share employment opportunities for 2011 with qualified and professional job seekers with no fees or cost not only to the job seeker, but the business owner as well. CCR greeted guests from the technology, non profit, metal pre-fab, chocolate, people soft, and financial industries.
CCR continues to develop the ‘no fee’ conduit between those hiring and those in transition all the while encouraging all in attendance to keep the faith.
CCR hosted another successful Roundtable with guest from Time Warner, OldCastle Materials, Black & Veatch, and Kansas Workforce. CCR’s guests shared some 60+ job postings with 30+ job seekers of which five came for the first time.
The most rewarding comment CCR received from our panel: “this is a wonderful group of professionals, I will be using your group in the future to fill openings at our company – not to mention there are no fees”.

Saturday – December 18th, CCR is hosting another successful Roundtable. Those in attendance will include business owners, HR representatives, and Job Club Alumni back to share open positions at their respective companies.
This Saturday – November 20th, CCR is hosted another Roundtable. Those in attendance included business owners, HR representatives, and Job Club Alumni back to share job postings from their respective places of employment and/or the desire to power network with all those in transition. CCR’s guests shared some 25+ open jobs with 36 job seekers.
CCR hosted another Roundtable which included representatives from Ferrellgas, Companion Care, KS WorkForce, International Hotel Corp and KCPL. Over 50 open positions were shared with 42 qualified job seekers.
The Nobel Prize has been awarded to 3 British scientists who worked on the problem of why so many jobs remain open when unemployment is so high. One of their conclusions is that this is due to “search friction” – job seekers not being aware of job openings, and employers not being aware of qualified individuals.
